October of 2007 marked the national launch of  BlueNose Edutaiment, an online reading
and writing product, utilizing entertainment as a way of motivating students to read and write (Grades 5-12).

The teacher lesson plans and student activities focus on Music, Movies, and Sports.
 
The BNE teacher web site provides Language Arts/English teachers with free lesson plans designed to encourage students to participate as songwriters, screen writers, or as sports journalists.  Students will be encouraged to submit their written entries for valuable prizes from our sponsors.
 
The BlueNose family is a group of dedicated professionals who believe that every student should have the opportunity to develop their skills, talents, and creativity, no matter where they live or what resources are locally available.  A growing community of teachers across the country are valued contributors who are sharing their best practices.
