There are a number of ways you and your students may participate!
1. BlueNose Awards Monthly Contests:
BlueNoseLive.com, the student site, encourages your students to participate in fun monthly contests such as word games, writing photo captions, etc., in order to win monthly prizes! The site also includes popular songwriter and recording artist interviews encouraging your students to write a song idea, or lyrics, for the BlueNose Awards annual contest.
2. BlueNose Awards Annual Contest:
BlueNoseEd.com, the teacher site, encourages you to have your students write a song idea, song lyrics, or to interpret a song as part of the BlueNose national competition for big prizes for your students and your classroom! BlueNoseEd.com provides free songs and free standards-based lesson plans from McDougal Littell.
